Am I dumb as a rock or these sites are so confusing

By thematrixz @ Sep 23 2007 05:20 am

Maybe I’m so used to the normal forums format, but I can’t find my way around these 4-5 HTN related web sites.  I stumbled upon the information about HTN project, and got so excited, but I can’t find the Download link anywhere.

Everywhere I clicked, it took me to either another site, or a page with just equipment information, no where to be found is the software itself, or a community forum to discuss pros and cons, or bugs report,…. or even how to setup.

Why is there a need for multiple sites? would it be simpler to find information on a single site with multiple sub-forums?

Please help, I’m lost.

  1. Our HTN sites are organized by information (HomeTheaterNetwork.com), place for users to post their HTNs (YourHTN.com), place to ask questions (HTNquestions.com), the AutoHTN project (AutoHTN.com), shopping sites (Shop___now.com), and other blog sites that joined such as HTPCnetwork.com. All posts go to the main page of YourHTN.com.

I had help on the site but I’m pretty much the only one working on it right now. I’ve been working on a huge home remodleing project so thats why its been quite here lately. Adding a fourm is in the works, but probably won’t be ready till early next year.

Would you give me a direct link the the software? I can’t wait to try it with my PDA phone. I’m in the middle of implementing home automation and need to find direction for what sotware and devices to use.

    Thanks

  3. Tan, AutoHTN currently only works on Android phones, which aren’t out yet. The first Google Android phone ( the G1) had a coming out party today and has received alot of coverage. Here is a link to some videos.

I’ll put the download link on the AutoHTN site once Android phones are out.
