   Does the faulty DVD recorder have any time of video/audio output? Lets say it has S-video output, then connect the S-video output from the faulty DVD recorder to the S-video input for the working DVD recorder. The same goes with audio.

   Hi HTN,
   UNFORTUNATLY IT ONLY HAS, THE RED / WHITE AUDIO OUTPUTS.
   BESIDES THE SCART INPUTS.

   Does your TV have any video / audio outputs? You could use that if it does. For example, my TV has a composite video output and analog (red/white) out.

   Hi HTN,
   unfortunately the ******* recorder has packed up altogether now, i suppose i cant grumble it is over 4 years old.
