		<description>Welcome Dr. Evil. How are you connecting the sound from the Comcast box and DVR to the receiver? I&#039;m guessing you&#039;re using optical or coaxial, but I wanted to makes sure.

There should be some way to force your receiver to output Dolby Pro Logic IIx on a particular source. The IIx will convert a 5.1 signal to a 7.1 signal. There&#039;s more details at the dolby link:
