Vera limits

are there any limits for the vera that anyone has found out about as far as range, I am planning to used this along with my 2 gig control panel for my home alarm system to by pass the monitoring of the system from another provider. Any info will be very welcome

Vera uses Z-wave whose RF signals range from 90 feet indoors to 300 feet outdoors without interference. Also, Z-wave uses mesh networking so signals can hop from device to device so the distance is actually much larger if the Z-wave network is large. The hop limit for Z-wave is 4 devices.
